In-Home A/C Sales Rep

About the Role

We’re seeking an enthusiastic and results-driven In-Home A/C, Plumbing and Electrical Sales professional with HVAC sales experience to conduct home assessments and close sales for heating, cooling, and plumbing systems.

Key Responsibilities

In-Home Consultations

• Assess customer A/C, plumbing, and electrical needs during home visits
• Evaluate existing systems and recommend tailored solutions
• Advise on energy-efficient systems and filtration options

Sales & Lead Generation

• Generate leads through referrals and networking
• Present HVAC products clearly to close sales
• Follow up with prospects to convert leads

Product Knowledge

• Maintain current knowledge of A/C, plumbing, and electrical technologies
• Customize recommendations to specific customer needs
• Educate customers on warranties, energy savings, and comfort benefits

Customer Service

• Build long-term client relationships
• Address concerns promptly and professionally
• Coordinate with operations teams on satisfaction

Sales Documentation

• Prepare detailed proposals with pricing and financing options
• Maintain accurate customer interaction records
• Submit permits, inspections, and commencement notices

Closing & Follow-up

• Secure signed contracts and coordinate installations
• Provide post-sale maintenance guidance

Requirements

Required

• Proven HVAC sales experience (mandatory)
• Strong A/C systems knowledge including efficiency options
• Excellent communication and negotiation abilities
• Comfort with in-home consultations
• Self-motivated, target-driven approach
• Strong organizational and time-management skills
• Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation
• Must pass drug test

Preferred

• CRM software familiarity
• Technical HVAC installation/maintenance knowledge
